Description
Your primary responsibility is the implementation of software solutions for Studiocom's clients. A Senior Developer is specialized in web technologies and has plugged in dynamic content regularly. He/she understands Object Oriented Programming and he/she has experienced in middleware (ASP or J2EE or PHP). A senior developer is a person who can communicate clearly and has the ability to lead a team of developers.
Responsibilities
• Apply best practices and coding standards.
• Use SVN to keep currently code saved.
• Report daily spent time in Project Server.
• Help to elaborate and/or review estimates.
• Help to design architecture and solutions on specific projects.
• Help to coordinate the development of reusable components and reference applications and frameworks.
• Apply technology strategic decisions within the area.
• Help the team finding technical solutions for specific issues.
• Provide and update necessary documentation and guidelines.
• Support to junior and intermediate developers.
• Help to research and define necessary tools for the team.
Experience
• More than 3 projects within the practice development experience
• At least two projects tech leadership experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the industry
Education
The candidate should have an undergraduate degree in computer science or a similar area of study. Advanced degrees in related areas are strongly desired

.NET Senior Developer
The .NET senior developer is a highly experienced developer who has worked on .NET development for more than 3 and half years. He/she must have worked on more than 5 different projects of medium or larger size He/she must have experience participating on web-based and enterprise applications. Also he/she needs to have background on leading developing teams of two or more persons Web-Presentation frameworks experience is required. Business and integration frameworks and APIs is required Fluency in Spanish and English is required
Certifications:
• MCPD certification is required
Specific responsibilities:
• Develop key components for enterprise projects
• Coordinate and lead team implementation phases within big projects
• Be in front of reference applications, new technology, APIs and frameworks researching
• Debugging issues and identifying best approaches for their solution
• Be involved in new resources technical training
• Provide time estimates for backend development tasks
• Raise development issues and risks to Production Managers and Technical Directors, when necessary
• Perform code reviews when necessary
• Perform unit, regression and load testing
Specific Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required
• Four or more years of professional experience developing enterprise applications with J2EE components
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 2 or more developers
• Ability to apply best practices and code conventions
• Familiarity with :NET web, business and integration components, apply patterns, APIs and frameworks
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required
